From Then to Now

A SUPRA STORY

A couple years ago now, at a local regular car meet at Squarehead Brewing Company in Holbrook, NY, a group of four passionate car enthusiasts found themselves united by a shared love for the Toyota Supra, in which they all owned. The bond grew, and their admiration for the Supra only intensified. They dreamed of creating a gathering that would celebrate not only the car’s engineering prowess but also the tight-knit community of Supra enthusiasts that had formed around it.

One sunny afternoon, they hatched an ambitious plan. Why not organize a grand event, bringing together Supra owners from all over the region? With excitement in their eyes and determination in their hearts, they decided to call it the “Tri-State Supra Meet,” representing the states that intersected in the vicinity.

Their initial task was to spread the word about their event. They rumored about it, reached out to friends and acquaintances, and posted on various online forums. The response was encouraging, as Supra owners from neighboring towns and cities expressed their interest in participating.

On the big day, a sea of Supras descended upon the venue, representing all generations of the legendary sports car. It was a sight to behold—a colorful tapestry of automotive artistry and passion. The event buzzed with energy as Supra owners exchanged stories, shared technical knowledge, and formed new friendships within the community.

The Annual Tri-State Meet was an overwhelming success, far exceeding their expectations. News of the event spread like wildfire across car enthusiasts’ circles, and the following year saw an even greater turnout. The Tri-State Meet became an annual tradition, eagerly awaited by Supra aficionados and car lovers from far and wide.

The four friends pooled their resources, working tirelessly to secure a suitable venue for the event. They navigated through bureaucratic red tape and logistics, leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of the perfect location. Finally, they managed to secure a bigger and better venue, capable of accommodating the growing number of Supras they hoped would attend… The Mansion at Glen Cove!!
